Hi K,

I'm afraid that both DWP and ATOS have built up huge back-logs and it is not unusual for claimants to wait many months before hearing anything. The only thing we can suggest that might speed up the process is to get your MP involved.

In this case the delays are to your benefit. Any decision made will apply from the date of the decision and cannot be backdated. This means if you are placed in the WRAG at reassessment this will only take affect from the date of their decision. I understand that it is very stressfull to exist in this kind of limbo. However I have been trying to point out to members that sometimes the delays are to their advantage.

In what ways would you consider that they be an advantage?
