P45? After transfer to ESA was created by niki_s_uk
Hi
Just wondering if it's normal to receive a P45 after moving from Incapacity Benefit to ESA?
I received one this morning with no explanation or anything with it .. I did receive another letter about proof of entitlement and rates etc, so was a bit confused.

Don't worry, this is normal, you have recieved the P45 because your IB has ended.

so glad to have found this post, my Wife has been transferred from IB to ESA (not had 1st ESA payment yet, will be due next week) and in todays post came her P45.
what should we do with this, just file it or should it be sent anywhere? there is no cover letter or instruction of any kind!
