I had a text message today from jobcentre+ to say there is no need to contact them and payment would be made into my account. I am on already receiving ESA but am still waiting a decision on PIP. Am I right to think that this will probably be to do with ESA and not PIP? I don't have a clue why I've got the message they have never text me before.

That is a little odd, it could have been sent in error. You might want to check your bank account to make sure payments have been going in as usual. You also might want to go into your local job centre or phone the job centre plus. You could also phone regarding your PIP claim.

Well the txt message was about pip and the money was in my account today! :) I am so relieved!

Glad it worked out for you :)

It is supposed to be an initiative by the DWP to make them look more warm and cuddly, however, I am not convinced, at best their communications should be graded adequate and given that there is no receive receipt for a text message I can see important information being lost.
