IR ESA WRAG to Support Group.

Just wondering if anyone can help me as I am a wee bit confoooozed. I am currently in receipt of IR ESA but I only have my NI paid as my wife works 30 hrs a week. My condition has got alot worse so have asked for a review so I can go into the support group. I have added all evidence to support the request so that's no problem. My problem is weather or no I would actually get any money or just my NI paid whilst in the support group.?? Thanks in advance..

Please can you clarify for me - were you originally in receipt of contributary ESA and payment stopped because of the 365 day limit, or have you not made enough NI contributions to be eligible for contributory benefit? This makes a difference to what happens next.

No I have been on IR ESA since june last year when my 365 days ran out. Just wondering if the support group ia any different money wise??

In that case, you are still technically on contributary ESA and payment would restart if you were to be put into the Support Group at a future reassessment. This is slightly more than the WRAG amount and is not time-limited.
