My ESA (c) ran out in Dec. I was informed by DWP not to worry a form will be sent out to claim ESA (IR). It never showed but by the third call to JCP i was told to pick up ESA3 form from the centre. Why could they not have said so in the beginning? Now 1 month later it has not been received into their office despite me having it recorded delivery and it has been signed. I informed them and they took note. Today they confirmed it has still not reached them in their post and advise me to wait or do another form and ring them so I can attend an appointment at JCP where they will fax it direct.
What a joke. I want to let others know do not rely on an ESA3 coming. if you know your ESA will stop get the form from any JCP and control the situation. I could have done that and not be in my situation now, no money for 1 month now. Does it reaklly take this long to reach them internally even though it was signed for in some sorting place? They received it in the sorting place first week of Dec.
