Hello all.as i was placed after tribunal into SG a few weeks ago is there an average wait time for a claim to be re-sorted,it only took a couple of days to stop my claim hm,also can i claim PIP or will this confuse,jeopodise or compromise my ESA? Thanks Kettle

Hi K,

It may help to speed up the updating of your files to reflect the tribunal's SG decision if you post a copy of the tribunal decision notice to the Benefits Office that deals with your ESA.

Sending Documents to the DWP or ATOS

As ESA and PIP are totally separate benefits, there is nothing to stop you making a claim for PIP.

For clarification :

To claim PIP, you must have care and/or mobility needs. DLA & PIP claimants can be in work or not working.

ESA is paid to those unable to work due to ill-health and/or disability and the tests for DLA/PIP and ESA are totally different.
