Can I just check that if you're invited to make a claim for PIP whilst you're still claiming DLA you will continue to receive your DLA until the PIP decision is arrived at, only then dependent on the PIP decision will your transfer (or not!!) to PIP take place?

Yes you should, if it is a fixed award then you should hear 20 weeks in advance of the renewal and there is a 4 week run-on of DLA after the Decision before you will start being paid PIP.
